Today commemorates the 50th Anniversary of Sir Winston Churchill’s funeral

Winston Churchill is one of England’s finest men, whose courage never wavered

He was a man of his time

Against all the odds of what Great Britain had to endure

Never once did Winston Churchill shirk from his responsibilities and his commitment to this great country that he believed in

He was a spiritual man and he knew from a very young age that he was in fact chosen to save Great Britain

His entire life was in preparation for this task and his knowledge of army tactics and of historical battles were his lessons

He knew instinctively what was required of him to perform his greatest tasks

He had great foresight that is indeed rare in a person unless they are chosen

Winston Churchill listened to a Higher Intelligence, which guided him into making tactical decisions, which proved beneficial many times

It is because of him that we have the Human Rights Organisation for he laid down the foundations of how people should be treated

He is loved throughout the world

Although he saved Great Britain, he is very much remembered in favour and respect by those in Europe, whom he saved by his policies

He will always be remembered as our greatest advisory and champion of the cause

Without him Hitler would have won the war!

The people owe him a debt of gratitude, which is so huge it cannot be measured only by the love of this great man!

Sir Winston Churchill was a man of destiny!

The Human Rights Watch Organisation’s annual report says the rise in IS “did not emerge in a vacuum” but as a result of regional abuses

Both Iraq and Syria’s Governments have created the fertile ground for IS to emerge

The US is also responsible for ignoring abuses given to the people by these Governments

Their main interests were of military actions against IS in order to safeguard their own interests, which is Oil

It is the Human Rights violations that have played a major role in creating the majority of today’s crisis

It is Governments which state that their serious security threats must take precedence over Human Rights

Yet it is because of gross mistreatment by Governments on their subjects that cause the unrest in the first place

It is the people’s rights which are ignored and unheard, which causes so much anger, dissent and friction

Governments quash any unrest that might jeopardise their power and control

The more dictatorial approach that Governments engage in against their own people the more aggrieved their public will feel

Tyranny is brought about by overload of grievances

It is not by harmony and equality of the people, who feel they are being heard and their rights addressed

Again Governments will reap what they sow and that is why IS exists, they have created this evil by their own hand

King Abdulla of Jordan is now playing a very cagey game with IS

IS are no fools and understand the implications that face Jordan, who are holding an Iraqi al-Qaeda militant, who killed 60 people in Amman

The situation is already strained between Jordan and IS and all will need to calm down before real negotiation or progress can be found

Although Jordan is willing to release their prisoner there are no guarantees that IS will honour its own agreement…

…or safe passage of exchange

A Higher Authority is now working behind the lines of negotiation to calm down all issues and bring about constructive talks

All parties can begin to go forwards

It is as much in their interest for IS to succeed by getting back one of their so called soldiers as it is for Jordan to also succeed

This is not about losing face but about careful & strategic participation where many issues are met before delivery of exchange is granted

All that is tense is now beginning to change and where there will be a light at the end of the tunnel in this dreadful situation

A judge in the southern Spanish city of Granada has charged ten Roman Catholic priests and two Catholic workers of child sex abuse

They are accused of abusing four teenage boys between 2004 and 2007

The most serious offences occurring in a house used by the priests

How can this Church purport to be holy, above board and take the moral high ground telling their flock what they can and can’t do?

Then they recruit depraved people into the priesthood and sanctity of the church

Before men enter into the priesthood their sexual bias needs to be investigated

For many will have already abused before they enter

Checks have to be made in professions that deal with children for this type of violence

It should be mandatory for priests to go through the same checks

Of course it appears obvious to anyone that the teachers of priests in these seminaries could well be paedophiles in their own right

So in proliferation of their own kind ensures a continuum of abuse from the very head down to the new priests coming into the fold

All this goes unchallenged and un-noticed causing a hotbed of damaged minds

How can the Catholic Church be allowed to continue in this depraved policy?

Every aspect of the Catholic Church has to be examined and those found guilty need to be defrocked and removed from their positions

One of the abused victims, an altar boy when he was young, wrote to Pope Francis about his abuse

The pontiff, who has pledged zero tolerance on sex abuse, ordered the Church to investigate

The result was that several arrests were made

The Archbishop and fellow priests then went to Granada’s Cathedral prostrated themselves in front of the altar

They asked for a pardon of sexual abuse in the Church

It is only when they are exposed do they cry like babies asking for forgiveness

Up till then they continued with their murky world of deceit and cover up

What a disgrace to all that Jesus Christ represented together with his teachings of honour and love

All this has gone so radically wrong

The Catholic Church is imploding and by their own disgraceful hand

Their hypocrisy should to be tempered with humility and not with arrogance that we have all witnessed for far too long

They owe it at least to all those victims, whose lives have already been destroyed!

As further sanctions towards Russia are now being discussed, it is time that greater action militarily is brought to bear

Moscow continues to give arms and ammunition to the rebels in Ukraine hoping that Ukraine will finally fall to Russian influence

The people of the Ukraine, who feel Russian and so uphold this military offensive, will become tired and fed up

What they thought was salvation has instead been a complete reversal and demolition of their once loved country is what is facing them

Russia is hell-bent on pursuing its objective, which is to consume Ukraine for itself and therefore to expand its own boarders

This will never happen and, like Berlin in the Second World War, a wall of division will have to be erected

The west will be able to flourish and grow and the eastern part of Ukraine will be run down and dilapidated

All this is because the people could not see how democracy and International investment could benefit them

This will be a harsh lesson in political dictatorship from Vladimir Putin to them all

Russia’s credit rating has been reduced to junk status

Russia’s monetary-policy has become more limited and its economic growth prospects are further weakened

Rising external pressures increase on Russia due to sanctions, because of their invasion on Ukraine

Together with the lower oil prices, which Russia is so dependent on, all now are taking its toll on this country

Russia’s economy is expected to contract by 4-5% this year

It will be the Russian people who will be feeling the pinch

Although they are sympathetic towards Putin, it won’t be long before his popularity wanes

Winters are always severe in Russia and with basic goods now not available the country’s people will feel the pinch even more

One has to learn that military aggression on another country, where provocation is down to the military might of Russia, cannot be accepted

Putin will see a downward turn of events and where the fallout towards him will not be what he expected

He has trained all those around him to follow his lead keeping him in power for all time

The Russian people have enjoyed a good market both economically and commercially

Now they will be thrown backwards again with less goods and economic safeguards that will be unacceptable by them!

Dictators have no place in this modern world and so eventually more and more will be seeing an end to their reigns

The situation in Greece will not deteriorate, as many in the Eurozone have predicted

The Euro itself is collapsing and has been unstable for many years

Until proper procedure is put in to re-sort it out properly, then the Eurozone can expect fluctuations and trade deficits

While it is necessary for Greece to meet up with the troika, the European Union, the IMF and the European Central Bank…

…they need to consider that while they are chastising Greece they need to get their own house in order first

A new loan deal will be appointed to keep Greece still in the Eurozone with concessions that are manageable

The harsh austerity packaged they enforced Greece to endure has almost crippled this country anyway

A new basic formula will need to be realised

Greece is fully aware it needs to pull in its belt, but at what cost?

If you demoralise a country to the extremes, you will invoke anarchy and this will cause greater catastrophes to occur

Should Greece leave the Eurozone, do not think it can’t manage on its own

The people of Greece are more resilient then one gives them credit for

Survival is what Greece is all about, they have survived throughout the centuries and they will be able to do it again

A greater united Greece will occur and it is together that other help will come in

They will be able to trade more competitively and find their own level once again

Europe will be more devastated and harmed, as the Euro continues to be less resilient and more problematical against the dollar and pound

There will be repercussions with other countries, who might now also be thinking of leaving

The common currency is not what it is cracked up to be

Because it was never sorted out properly in the first place, so other countries are caught up in its instability

The troika now have to think carefully, as they need Greece to stabilise, having held them by the jugular for too long

They need it to breathe

Otherwise they will suffer the fallout by their drastic actions

Brussels and Germany do not hold all the answers and it is high time they acknowledge this!

A NASA probe is to start photographing the icy world of Pluto

The probe has travelled five billion km in nine years to get to this dwarf planet

This shows Man’s achievements not only in technology, but in the greater understanding of the Universe expanding and growing

New stars and planets are being formed and discovered and it shows that the Infinite is used to prove matters beyond our wildest dreams

Man is an adventurer who sees boundaries, which are there to be conquered, not to be contained

By studying the planets we can begin to understand ourselves and our right to be within the planetary makeup

The Intelligence is there for us to discover and learn from it, to venture out where Man has not gone before

We can build bigger probes and advance in our technology, which is also used to structure and understand our own planet further

We must never lose sight of Mankind’s achievements and from that we learn to change the world and become better custodians of it

We owe it to ourselves and to the generations that come after us

For we are not alone and all that we have we owe to this Source of Intelligence, which steers us ever on!

Thailand fights to gain stability in its political system and the military have formed the governing status, be it only temporary

New Laws need to be put in place to prevent future corruption taking place

The impeachment of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has banned her from politics for five years due to corruption and abuse of power

Criminal charges are in progress relating to the rice scandal where she could face a ten year jail sentence

Bangkok is sending out a strong clear message that there will be no compromise for her and her family

This family will be removed from politics

Her brother, Thaksin Shinawatra, was forced into exile after corruption charges were also brought against him

The Shinawatra dynasty are favoured by the rural poor, whose votes are bought to ensure Shinawatra get re-elected at all times

However they are hated by the urban and middle class elite, who have accused them of corruption and abuse of power

These facts have already been proven

Corruption and greed are the very cancer that kills a nation and must be removed by root and branch

Thailand deserves a better form of governing and where the rule of law can finally bring about stability and enhance this nation’s economy

Corruption around the world is being highlighted and it has been the death knell for so many countries

Now the people are fighting back and justice and right living with action is being enforced

With the right attitude, then help in so many ways is given

King Abdullah, who died today aged 90 of pneumonia, will be sadly missed

He was known as a cautious reformer, often coming up against hard-line clerics

He faced resistance from conservative factions, which hindered some of his efforts

This left many women disappointed with the lack of progress towards greater independence – especially their right to drive

Saudi Arabia quashed an uprising by Al-Qaeda in his Kingdom, which was severely crushed, leaving the remnants to go underground

He contested Al-Qaeda’s militant interpretation of Islam who tried to justify their terrorist’s acts

He ordered textbooks to be purged of their most extreme language and sent 900 imams to be re-educated

He chastised senior clerics for not speaking out more forcibly against the jihadists

King Abdullah invested heavily in massive infrastructure projects saying that the oil won’t last forever

His $130 billion building plan was to create 500,000 units for low income housing for his people

He bolstered government employees’ salaries & set up a Facebook page where citizens were invited to present their grievances directly to him

It is not known how many actually reached him

He worked to oppress his adversaries like Bashar al-Assad and the Muslim Brotherhood

Last year he led the Arab nation in a US led coalition to eradicate ISIS in Iraq and Syria

He has been praised for his role in sponsoring the Arab Peace initiative with attempts to solve the conflict with Palestine and Israel

As King, he had the title of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of Islam’s holiest sites, Mecca and Medina

King Abdullah was the first Saudi to meet the Pope in 2007

He allowed women to work as supermarket cashiers and appointed a woman as a deputy minister

He had built a $12.5 billion research university, where women and men now study together

His greatest legacy will be his scholarship programme that sends tens of thousands of men and women to study abroad

They study at Western universities and colleges and they will be the future of Saudi Arabia

As a young man, he was sent to live as a Bedouin tribesman, where he became plain speaking

He refused to be called majesty and discouraged hand kissing by commoners

He shocked 7,000 prince and princesses by cutting their allowances

He trained his children to walk barefoot, rise two hours before dawn and to eat but little and to ride horses bare backed

When he was the young Abdullah, he once neglected to offer his seat to a guest and his father sent him to prison for three days

He suggested to an American counterterrorism official that electronic chips be implanted into Guantanamo detainees

King Abdullah said it worked on horses and falcons, to which the American replied “Horses don’t have good lawyers”

King Abdullah will be missed by many throughout this world, but nowhere more than by his loving family

Yemen’s embattled President has reached a peace deal with the Shia Houthi tribes occupying key points in the capital Sanaa

President Hadi’s office has had to make major concessions

The Houthi tribesmen will now play a bigger political role, which will amend the constitution as it stands now

The Houthi rebellion in northern Yemen has been the largest war in the Arab world aside from the Iraqi War

It has proven to be a drain on Yemen in material and human resources as well a central Government pre-occupation over the past five years

This war between the Government and Houthi clans started in 2004

It was a power struggle between Government and the local clans

The Houthis have been marginalised for years and enough was enough

The Yemeni Government needs to invest in the reconstruction & legitimatizes Houthi tribes as political actors in this reconciliation process

President Ali Abdullah Saleh ruled Yemen as a dictator for 20 years

He was replaced by Mr Hadi, who was supposed to lead a transitional Government towards democratic elections

This did not satisfy the Houthis, because they had no representation in this transitional Government

Therefore it was no different to the old regime and could not be trusted

It is the failures of Yemen’s Government, which is responsible for this long running conflict

The Yemeni Government is weak, corrupt and ineffective

They have no choice but to meet the demands of a people, who have been of no count in their eyes

Spiritual Law says, “What you sow, so shall ye reap”

They have sown injustice and so righteousness now takes over

The outrageous prices charged by the pharmaceutical industry have gone through the roof

Medecins Sans Frontieres have warned that many countries are struggling to fully immunise children

There has been a 68-fold increase in prices since 2001-2014

The charity has revealed that western countries get a better deal than the poorer countries, which do not!

The prices have become prohibitively high and MSF have been questioning the sustainability of this immunisation programmes

Just because you come from a poor country does not make the people second class citizens

Therefore their rights to live have been seriously compromised

The World Health Organisation needs to put pressure on pharmaceutical companies to reduce costs for these struggling countries

They are trying to insure a health programme for their citizens and are being unscrupulously hindered by outrageous prices

A survey has shown that the amount of vaccines offered has doubled since 2001, but the price for them has increased even more

In 2001 a vaccine costs $0.67

Now it has gone up to $4.59 per child, because of many more diseases that need to be treated

Therefore the vaccination programme has increased

There should be a proportionate rise in these costs, but not at the risk of unaffordability

This will lead to these programmes being abandoned

It is high time that pharmaceutical giants were brought down with their lack of compassion and overbearing greed

It is time now for smaller independent pharmaceutical companies to emerge to release the stranglehold of these giants

Thus making vaccinations programmes more affordable

This has already been started in India and it is now hoped that other agencies can evolve to help those in this world

In the end it is humanity’s needs that must be addressed

We are all in this together and exploitation of the sick and vulnerable is not something we should be proud of

We all get sick at some time in our lives and we hope that we will be rescued and not abandoned because of greed!

Good Roman Catholics do not need to breed like rabbits, Pope Francis has said

He also stated that they should practice ‘responsible parenting’ instead

Pope Francis was literally moved while out in the Philippines, where he met former street children whose parents had abandoned them

This was due to the fact they were unable to feed and care for them

He stated that some people thought that to be good Catholics we should breed like rabbits

No, came his reply, Parenthood is about being responsible

The Church allows many ways for families to have as many children as they wished and no more

He further added that no outside institution should impose its views on families

This statement by him is unprecedented in the teachings of the Catholic Church

In defence of the Catholic Church, which has always stated when dealing with contraception…

…that the individual must search their own conscience first before undertaking that necessary decision, which affects them

That is why so many Irish Catholics went over the border to England to obtain contraceptive devices

To them it was between their conscience and their Maker and nobody else

At the end of the day, education is required and where ignorance continues then it can be devastating for all the family

On the Charlie Hebdo situation, Pope Francis stated, You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others…

…You cannot make fun with the faith of others. There is a limit

Again it is all about respect and responsibility, which are the criteria that we all must live up to!

The people of the world need to unite against the extremists forces found to infiltrate and cause havoc to millions of people worldwide

The disease can either be ideological or greed in the way of drugs and narcotics

Too much goes unnoticed & this is a massive wake up call to all nations to be more vigilant & to stem the flow of radical & violent means

We cannot afford any longer to sleepwalk through life

There must be measures where the law is brought to book on so many misdeeds and misappropriate actions

Until a proper body is set-up and is given the necessary teeth to combat these crimes then, like a cancer, we will all be consumed

The Mafia in Italy and the US have had a frightening run for their money causing havoc, death and destruction to human life

They infiltrate the very establishment and although there are some successes nothing really stems the flow of this disease

We are only still dealing with the very tip of the iceberg

Where corruption lies at the very heart of Government and industry, so Mankind continues to suffer

It is now time for greater action to be taken by all nations to bring about policies where law and order is at the very heart of justice

This needs to be seen to be working

Radicalism in many ways fuels violence and has a total disregard for the human populace

Rape, killings and destruction now becomes the evil that faces us all!

It is now time for Governments to come together, upholding the law and bring an end to this Universal suffering

A force of the highest people in the world will have to come together to address these issues

No longer can countries interfere, because it does not suit their friends and…

…they feel they must protect them in spite of the atrocities they give out

All Governments must now become accountable to the people

The security forces in Paris knew of these Islamic extremists, yet did nothing

The crime was committed and they, the forces, apprehended them – too late, the carnage had already happened

It is now no longer acceptable where needless lives are lost due to massive incompetence by respective Governments

If leaders are not up to the job then they must be moved aside by those who will uphold the law

They must bring in the necessary safety measures to eradicate the very stench of brutality and violence that these criminals bring!

Until nations unite throughout the world, the evil of crime continues to choke up all societies and maims the lives of people forever

We, as the human race, are not doing enough and so crime continues to grow and becomes unstoppable

All Governments have the blood of people on their hands and it is high time that personal responsibility is now taken!

Pope Francis completes his tour of the Philippines with an outdoor Mass for millions in the rain of the capital Manila

Pope Francis dedicated the service partly to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which devastated the country in 2013

Crowds sang and cheered as the Pope stopped at various points to greet worshipers

The Philippines has over 80 million Catholics and many remain in poverty

The Pope listened to several children speaking about their experiences of growing up on the streets

One child, 12 years old, asked why God allowed it to happen, the Pope was visibly moved

His reply was that, “Only when we are able to cry are we able to come close to responding to your question”

He added that the world needed to learn how to cry where there is a need

Those on the margins cry, those who have fallen cry

But those who are living life that is more or less without need, we don’t know how to cry!

Typhoon Haiyan affected 14.5 million people with around one million are still homeless

It is down to the Catholic Church to help their people and to start providing out of their own coffers, for shelter, food and education

The Master Jesus never said build temples with gold and have vast amounts of wealth in land, property, paintings and other assets while…

…the people go hungry and are devastated

Jesus stated that his church would teach and provide for the sick, the suffering and the homeless

It is the Church’s responsibility not to keep acquiring wealth, but to distribute it to where it is most needed

The Catholic Church and other churches around the world are not doing what Jesus and his disciples preached that they should do

The Filipino people, as with other predominately Catholic countries, are suffering grave hardship…

…while the Church gets richer they get poorer

The words of that 12 year old child to Pope Francis about why did God allow her to be on the streets is not God’s fault

It is Man’s inhumane and dispassionate nature towards her

It is Man and the Catholic Church which has let her down and Pope Francis knows it and yet does nothing!

It is high time that the Catholic Church actually did what Jesus & his disciples preached & that is to provide for those who are in need

Not to continue to lavish in luxury with all their amenities to hand. After all, they never have to go without, therefore need never cry!

The International Criminal Court has begun considering whether to investigate war crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories

The ICC said it has now opened a preliminary examination into the situation in Palestine

This is the automatic step being taken by the Court upon referral

Palestinians have asked the ICC to investigate Israeli “crimes” since June 2014

The fifty day conflict, which resulted in a far-outweighed death toll and destruction by Israel on Palestinians, was witnessed by the world

Israel took a sledge hammer to crack a nut

The UN themselves were witnesses to the brutal onslaught by Israeli heavy artillery on Gaza

Many UN hospitals and buildings, including schools, were blown up when Israel knew of the coordinates, which were repeatedly given

Innocent civilians, as well as UN staff, were killed in this conflict

Tens of thousands of homes in Gaza were destroyed

The fact that the world looked on, in horror at that day to day slaughter, where nobody intervened to stop it

Even the US criticised the Israeli measure, but stood back conveniently and did nothing

Justice has to be seen to be done by the world for these forsaken people of Palestine and Gaza

Unless the ICC does something drastic and stands up for justice, then there is no hope for any people in the world

Goliath certainly has then slayed David!

It’s the total injustice to the people that continues to fuel resentment and anger throughout the world and especially towards the West

We hypocrites cannot have one rule for one and another rule for the East

Peace must be restored in this world and it must be seen to be done with the Palestinians and Israelis first!

New travel and trade rules between the US and Cuba are to take effect today

US citizens can now visit Cuba using their credit cards and buying merchandise without restrictions

Americans can now take home $100 in alcohol and tobacco and the ban on Cuban cigars is over!

Earlier this week Cuba had released 53 political prisoners agreed as a historic deal

Plans are now being drafted to help promote political and economic freedom for the people of Cuba

But nobody should underestimate Cuban’s leader Raul Castro, who still holds an iron grip and will not be pushed over by any American scheme

So a softly approach will be the best way forwards

The US can certainly provide more resources to empower the Cuban population so they can become less dependent on the state run economy

Trade and mutual respect for the Government and its people will see the people benefit in so many ways

Mobile phones and the Internet together with the software will be a great way forwards for them all

Trade and not war is the greatest ally that any country can offer its neighbours and throughout the world

This could easily happen in Palestine where the barriers come down

A peacekeeping force helps to bring in the necessary commerce & trade to collectively help an impoverished nation become established again

All it takes is the will to do it and not all the rhetoric to maintain the status quo of apartheid

The UN Refugee Agency has urged the International community to help alleviate the desperate living conditions of the Syrian refugees

The Syrian refugees, who are hit by freezing winter temperatures and electricity shortages, have all the misery that goes with a civil war

President Bashar al-Assad is responsible for his people and it is up to the International communities to put pressure on him

He must step down and an interim Government must be put in place, so that Syrians can return to their homeland

Bashar al-Assad’s money must be frozen and used in the care and reconstruction of his people

Where Russia and China have equally supported the al-Assad regime, they have collectively put a stop to negotiations

They must equally take responsibility and act financially and constructively for the Syrian refugees

Responsibility where war is concerned has to be a priority and International Law has to be enforced in these cases

It is no longer a viable proposition for the rest of the world…

…especially Jordan and Lebanon, who are already stretched to the limits and really cannot take any more

While the UN Refugee Agency tries to put more pressure on the International communities to provide more…

…that pressure should be focussed on Russia and China

Refugee camps should be erected in their countries as their part in the financing of this civil war and…

… for their involvement in not putting pressure on Assad to sort out a solution

Their involvement allows for the continuation of this war, so they must now bear the consequences of their own actions

They must alleviate the sufferings that they have actively contributed to

International pressure needs to be applied to them to act for all Syrians suffering under dire conditions

It is time a new phase of International Law is brought in where wars are concerned

All those who get involved must be mindful that their actions will be brought to bear on them!

The International Law is a joke if it does not have the teeth to bring warmongering factions to justice

As the River Ganges becomes more polluted, 100 bodies were found washed up from the river

Reports show that bodies of people were dumped in the river or buried close to the banks of the river

Many families could not afford to cremate them

Many Indians believe the Ganges to be holy and so it is used as a cremation site

The dead were given water burials or buried close to the river bank, because Hindus do not cremate unwed girls and boys

Today the river is the 6th most polluted river in the world. All initiatives to clean this sacred river have failed so far

The main causes for the pollution are human waste, where the people bathe and do their laundry and publicly defecate

Another pollutant is the Industrial Waste of 400 tanneries, which use chemicals that have toxic compounds

There are also the distilleries and slaughter houses and hospitals all dumping untreated waste

The religious events bring in over 70 million people, who bathe over several weeks to cleanse themselves of their sins

It has been proven that more people who live alongside the river banks have cancerous conditions than anywhere else in the country

It has taken extreme action by certain people who have put their lives on the line…

…to bring to the attention the severity of this ongoing problem

In 2011, a Hindu seer fasted to his death protesting against the illegal mining, which resulted in pollution of the river

Following on from his death, an Ashram leader also fasted and finally the Government released an order banning illegal mining

An eminent environmentalist has also fasted for 107 days protesting for a cleaner Ganges

As a result, a National River Ganges Basin Authority (NRGBA) meeting has occurred obtaining US$520M

There will be sewer networks, sewage treatment plants, electric cremations and community toilets together with developed river fronts

It takes power and courage of a few individuals to draw world attention to serious issues, which ultimately will make a difference

The world continues to praise these exceptional people, whose lives are secondary when it comes to benefitting the Greater Good

God Bless them all!

Outrage has taken place in India, after a minister in Goa said the State Government was planning to set up centres to ‘cure’ homosexuals

It was the sports minister Mr Tawadkar, who said treatment would be offered to lesbians, gays, and bisexuals to make them normal

India’s deep conservative narrow thinking views have made homosexuality a taboo and regard same-sex relationships as illegitimate

Mr Tawadkar’s comments endorse that conservative view, thinking that by putting homosexuals into clinics…

…like alcoholics they can be changed or cured

Ramesh Tawadkar’s comments show up his gross ignorance

Many have taken to social networking sites to criticise his shocking statements

The tragedy of Mr Tawadkar’s ignorance is he does not know what is normal…

…what makes a homosexual what they are and so is the same of heterosexuals?

What is normal to one is equally as normal to another

The brain, which produces more female hormones, will make that person into a lesbian at birth

The same is for homosexuals, whose predominant male hormones in the brain, produces homosexuality

The heterosexual has equal amounts of female and male hormones in the brain making that person a heterosexual

Until we are born none of us can know which way our brains have been formed with the hormones to bring about our desire of sexual preference

People will only know when they become consciously able to differentiate between which sex they have a bias towards

So no amount of centres can cure them from how they were biologically produced to alter their brains composition

Because there are more heterosexuals in this world, does not make them normal?

If the world had more lesbians and homosexuals than heterosexuals, they would in their eyes be normal and the minority would not be

This is ridiculous!

If the majority of people in this world had blue eyes…

…would those who had brown or green eyes pluck out those eyes, so that they feel part of the majority – of course not!

Brown and green eyes are beautiful and that is how our Creator has made us in love

So with respect and understanding of our Creator’s purpose, we must accept all of us in this world, as God’s loving creations

India with its many prejudices has a long way to go

They may have the nuclear bomb, but human rights are way off their spectrum of understanding others in this world

Everything comes, in its time

It is only now that South Korea’s President Park is prepared to hold talks with North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un without any pre-conditions

The idea is to open up the path to peaceful unification

The two leaders have only met twice in 2000 and 2007 since the Korean War divided the peninsula

The time between South and North Korea has been more convivial just recently

It would be in North Korea’s interest to bring the two sections together

For years now Korean families have been cut off from each other in the North/South divide

Both have suffered, but more so North Korea, which has been cut off by world sanctions

Its only true ally is China, who treats North Korea as a belligerent child that flares up when it can’t get its own way

As Kim Jong-un becomes more mature and begins to see more sense, he will realise he has more to gain then to keep losing

His people need outside help and trade brings in a balance to an already weak economy

There are many deficiencies within this country and there is a need to bring in the necessities that the North Korean people badly need

Mass starvation to these people is the main factor

South Korea is in a position of strength with its US military exercises being held regularly across the border

Kim Jong-un needs to flex his military might with his continuing nuclear testing

Even China gets edgy here as it is right on their doorstep

A foolhardy leader is a dangerous one, not only to his people but to the world in general

A nuclear disaster would annihilate his people

Strong action by Beijing to curb his irrational behaviour is often given behind closed doors

At least the first step in announcing a possible high-level summit on reunification of the two Koreas is a step in the right direction

One must always be vigilant though, as one is dancing with a porcupine and one could so easily get pricked in a dance!

The crisis threat of ISIL and other faction groups will not go away

They are mobilising themselves to become more active than before, both in the Middle East and in Europe

Small factions or cells will also open up in the US

All must be vigilant and all must protect their neighbours and see that they are secure

The situation in Europe will also escalate

It will bring down various platforms, like the media where there is a strong bias against Muslims and their theology

The main suffers here will be the Muslim people themselves

They have already suffered extensively at the hand of their fellow fanatical Muslims

The West needs to understand that they cannot beat this ideology in the way that they are trying to today

There needs to be a united consensus where all must try to live together

Ethnic groups cannot be marginalised. Integration needs to come in far more

They wish to be a part of society where their views are heard and where a society support system is in place

Many ethnic minority groups feel cut off and neglected by their host nation, which fuels resentment and anger

It is up to Governments to bring about reform where integration does not mean subjugation…

…but a freedom to interact and where acceptancy is high on the agenda

By isolating various groups, who remain in poverty and are grossly neglected by the State and society, frustration is fuelled

They see that nobody cares for them and why should they even be there?

Sadly many French people only want France for themselves

They see foreigners as invaders of their rights to live without fear or favour

It is up to Governments to bring about peace and a sense of wellbeing, where integration is a necessary requirement

This will alleviate the build-up of frustration, where it explodes out of hand

Tolerance and respect for all people of all creeds is required if a nation wants unity and collaboration from its citizens

Rules must be put in place where one has the right to speak, but not the right to degrade a person as worthless or lesser in their eyes

These same rules must apply for all!

A nation cannot expect to have freedom of speech while at the same time ignoring and isolating sections of society

They are already struggling because the State has neglected and abandoned them

One cannot have ones cake and eat it. Fairness and compassion, even love must enter in

Governments must take care of their flock and not just the chosen few who can keep them in power?

One gets far more from ones citizens where respect is given and voiced, rather than by constant hardship, abuse and neglect!

France and Europe needs to learn from this horrendous episode and to realise they had a hand in creating this outcome!

The Irish Government has set up a public inquiry into mother and baby homes

It will investigate how society failed the women and children placed in homes, especially in the period of 1922-1998

The inquiry has been formed, on revelations about a mass grave at a Catholic Church-run mother and baby home in County Galway

The Irish Minister for Children has set up a three-year inquiry

James Reilly has stated how the State failed to come to terms with the reality of their past

These homes were mainly Church-run institutions, which unmarried women and teenage girls were sent to give birth

Many of these girls and women were ostracised by their families and communities for becoming pregnant outside marriage

The double standards held at that time when the female is always the one to blame and bear the burden, while the man gets off scot-free

It is time to realise that no man can be forced to have sex with a female against his will, he simply cannot perform the act

So blame needs to be apportioned in these cases and highlighted

Never forgetting that women get pregnant where rape is a factor and so it was never their fault in the first place

The State now has a duty to help heal these poor women who have suffered tragically

There has been a systematic failure by the State and society as a whole

The Catholic Church has its indoctrination of disallowing contraception

This is for the procurement of masses of babies to become the future Catholics of today

The mass grave in Tuan in County Galway was discovered 40 years ago and was ignored

It was only when historian Catherine Corless uncovered new details about the extent of the burials…

…and the high death rate among those children that anything has been done about it

Shame must be brought on society and the various Governments and institutions for their systemic ignoring of this problem

The Tuam home was run by Catholic nuns of the Bon Secours Sisters for 36 years

It was one of many where pregnant women were sent to have their babies

Some 35,000 unmarried women were subjected to this horrendous treatment

Instead of being able to give birth to a child where there is love and consideration to their plight, they faced hostility and shame!

Thankfully it is the work of the crusading historian combined with media reports that has brought this to light

This has forced the Irish people to be confronted by this truth

The inquiry team have agreed to take on this enormous job, which spans some 75 years of practices into mother and baby homes

It is high time that Ireland comes to terms with its past

It must begin to put into place reforms and education so that this never happens again

Thailand’s ex-Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has appeared at the National Assembly in Bangkok where she is facing impeachment

Her crimes are that she was involved in a controversial rice subsidy, which has cost the country billions of dollars

If she is found guilty she could be banned from political activity for five years

Ms Yingluck was removed from office for abuse of power in May

During that time the army seized control saying it needed to restore order after many days of civilian clashes

The controversial rice policy guaranteed Thai rice farmers a much higher price than one would get on the global market

The rice is now too expensive and open for corruption

The commission has already charged one minister and is investigating others

The rice purchase scheme was launched in 2011

Instead of boosting farmer’s income the rice now stands in stock piles, which the Government cannot sell

The National Anti-Corruption Commission is looking into Ms Yingluck’s role in this scheme and investigating her for possible negligence

Others, who were also involved in this scheme, knew of the many losses, but did nothing to stop it!

Ms Yingluck has targeted farmers as they were her most ardent supporters

New elections are supposed to be called next month

However they are already proving to be contentious with opposition parties vowing to boycott the polls

The people want an unelected People’s Council to reform the electoral system

They fear that there will be a return of the Shinawatra family to power

Again corruption and power is at the very heart of Government and, where they feel they can get away with it, they will

It is right that the people stand up for their rights and what they believe in, so that justice is being seen to be done

A better more robust form of Government can emerge from this power crazy Shinawatra family

Thailand will emerge the stronger for it, as new rules and regulations will be imposed for the good of all the people

People the world over must start taking responsibility for their actions

Newspapers, the media in general, must start to look at how they behave

We, as a society, cannot think we can continue down this road of irreverent behaviour and expect to get away with it!

Too often on television, comedians act with impunity poking fun at whatever they feel can get them a cheap laugh

Never do they think of the consequences of their actions

In the past, people who are disabled were considered fair game for ridicule by comedians, often making them out as brainless

They never thought of the misery they incurred to those victims, who were in no position to defend themselves

Now a heinous crime has been committed in Paris of the killing of several of the staff of the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo

Never did those journalists ever consider the consequences of their actions

Making fun of all religions and the Government in a society that remains tolerant is easy and they can get away with it

That does not make their actions right, it simply allows them to publish without being challenged for their gutter practice

Respect for the individual and institutions are way off their radar

Now the unforgiveable has happened

Those who feel they have been offended and that the magazine has gone too far in its deliberation…

…then the force needed to silence them was way too severe

Yet it sometimes takes this kind of severe action to stop people in their tracks and make them think!

Does one publish something that is actually funny without denigrating somebody?

Does one act irresponsibly and think it doesn’t really matter?

How far can systematic abuse continue without being stopped or even censured?

The freedom of the press must be defended at all costs, but even this institution must abide by certain rules before it gets out of hand

The time for reflection has to now come in where we must all take responsibility for our actions

We must decide how far one will go with regards to bringing disrespect onto others?

The price for ignoring this basic rule has been a severe one indeed!

Charlie Hebdo, the Paris satirical magazine, has been attacked

Twelve people have been killed, two are police officers and ten are fighting for their lives

Two masked men with automatic weapons entered the magazine’s office and fired indiscriminately

The magazine’s editor-in-chief and three cartoonists were killed

This magazine was firebombed recently and the editor had his life threatened

The magazine published caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed

While the magazine depicts free speech, it has been heavily criticised for its denigration of all religions

For them, it is always open season for the criticism of all religions

More recently they have chosen to criticise and publish obscene caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed

Charlie Hebdo is accused of publicly provoking discrimination, hatred or violence of ethnic, racial or religious kinds

We all appreciate the fabric of free speech and the many sufferings imposed on journalists for doing their jobs…

…especially those who are imprisoned now, the Al-Jazeera journalists, who are unlawfully detained for reporting the truth

It has to be said that some publications can go too far and step over the line

This I feel has been the case with Charlie Hebdo

There comes a time in journalism where respect and sensitivity should be voiced

Senseless cartoons, which incite explosive reactions, should be avoided and again respect encouraged

This magazine went too far

There are limits to provocation and now this provocation has escalated and the price of one’s life is too high for idiotic sensationalism!

The Yazidi religious minority community in Iraq have stated that 3,500 of their women and girls are being held by Islamic State

Many of them are being used as sex slaves. A few have escaped telling others about their harrowing ordeals

The Islamic State had blocked off their escape routes in their town of Sinjar where they separated the women from the girls

They were then forced into pick-up trucks and taken to Mosul

When the women refused to go they were hit and dragged into cars. In one area 200 women and girls were taken to slave markets

Their only way out as they can see it is suicide, which many of them tried

There needs to be more protection for this defenceless group of people

The International community must set precedence against this kind of barbaric treatment

The Yazidis are a peaceful people, who go about their business and contribute to Iraq’s economy

There needs to be a peacekeeping force under UN dictate to secure protection for this group and against the atrocities of the Islamic State

The Islamic State will fall but it will happen from within

They will find they cannot hold land to secure the caliphate they so much have longed to have

The sustainability long-term is just not there, no matter how much funds they have and how many men they engage

They cannot hold the course of action, as the wind of change is now forcing many of their fighters away from strategic positions

The world is now starting to close in and they will find they have no longer the manpower to expedite their policies

Pope Francis continues on his reform of the Catholic Church

He has named 20 more new cardinals, which include churchmen from Tonga, Ethiopia and Myanmar

Fifteen of these new appointees are under the age of 80, making them eligible to enter enclave to elect the Pope’s successor

Appointing cardinals from all over the world shows how he is reaching out to those poorer countries

These new cardinals will be in a better position to help the poor and so cardinals from Haiti and Burkina Faso are appointed

Pope Francis has stated that the Catholic Church must strip itself of all vanity, arrogance and pride

This same example should be taken up with the Church of England, which also indulges itself in too much pomp and ceremony

It loses sight of what is important regarding the poor and homeless and its job to facilitate help in this direction

The Master Jesus and his disciples had nothing and owned nothing

Their ministry was to heal, attend to the sick and suffering of both mind and spirit and to educate in the ways of being spiritual

They had no need for pomp and ceremony. Jesus advocated the simple life and by his teachings and example, so he was recognised

The wealth of the Church is staggering, but it remains an icon of what it used to be and not what it is supposed to be

The example they give does not bode well in today’s modern world, where suffering is rife

The Church’s influence and healing is nowhere to be seen

It is no wonder that modern man has lost faith in the Church and its business, but seeks his God within the parameters of his own mind

Many Churches are now restaurants and other outlets, the people who are dis-satisfied will always vote with their feet

This is how it shall continue to be until reform from the highest level is being seen to be done

It takes but the top man to have the guts to change matters & with the guidance of the Almighty that is given to them it can’t be difficult!

India is again in the headlines for kidnapping and repeated rape on a Japanese student by organised gangs

The Japanese student was picked up by a gang member, who spoke fluent Japanese pretending to be a local guide

The student was taken to a beach resort where she was sexually assaulted and robbed of all her money

She was taken to another resort and handed over to another gang, who held her captive for several weeks and continued to assault her

Fortunately she escaped her captives and made her way to Calcutta where she made a formal complaint via the Japanese consulate

The continued rapes by organised gangs, who run with impunity, are reaching ridiculous levels

The authorities are too slow to act and the laws imposed by the Government as a deterrent are shambolic. They do not work

Until harsher laws, or even executions, are forcibly imposed there will be no safeguards for any women, who are preyed upon by these thugs

What safety measures do the Government impose towards women?

The law has to be more robust and enforcement seen by everybody

It must show that there cannot be any acceptance of this behaviour in today’s society

There has been enough publicity and outrage by Indians and the International community, when will something properly be done?

Miracles happen all the time!

A seven-year old US girl walked to a home in the US state of Kentucky after a plane that she was in crashed

The plane was later found with four bodies inside; two of them were of her father and mother

Air traffic controllers lost contact with the Piper PA-34 aircraft after the pilot reported engine problems

About 30 minutes after the plane lost contact, a resident of Lyon County called the police

He told them that a girl had walked to his home to report the crash

The little girl, standing barefooted, was also bleeding quite badly. She said the plane was upside down

She asked if she could she stay there? After cleaning her up, the man called the police

This little girl came out of the wreckage herself and found the closest residence

It’s a miracle she survived

Those who understand the Afterlife will know it was not her time to pass, even though it was the time of the others

They would not have suffered, as their spiritual bodies would have come out of their physical bodies before the point of contact

The young girl is now in hospital receiving treatment for her non-life threatening injuries

When she becomes older, she will remember how helping Spiritual hands assisted in her survival and brought her to safety

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has been sworn in for a second term

In her inaugural speech she vowed she would lift millions out to poverty

She faces problems ranging from a stagnating economy to the major corruption scandal now hitting Brazil’s oil giant Petrobras

This she is involved in and it will be interesting to see how she worms her way out of it. It won’t be easy

President Rousseff states that there is no evidence that Petrobras senior management were involved in this scandal

With only a narrow victory in these elections she faces a country very much divided

Having already announced a controversial cabinet of which she has distributed posts to please the coalition parties…

…instead of making appointments which are based on expertise

Until a hard line is taken she will lose the confidence of this already divided country

She really has to come clean in many of her country’s policies if she is to go forwards at all

This lady stands on a knife edge and it is only by coming clean that she can be in a position to go forwards

As China has done, one has to root out the cancer of corruption from within and then with a leaner government new policies will come

The signing of the papers to join the International Criminal Court by the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas will cause quite a rumpus

Especially in US and Israeli circles

The world now needs to see justice being done for the Palestinian people and for their right to live in peace and prosperity

The ICC should not hold up membership status but welcome it

Therefore providing a platform for criminals to be tried and for justice to be seen to be done

There should not be any outside pressure exerted as it makes a complete mockery of the law

The US and Israel can no longer be allowed to get away with their stalling tactics, changing the game plan to suit themselves all the time

This is not justice, but a mockery of it

What point is the law when those who abuse it constantly get away with it, as nobody has the guts to stand up to these aggressors?

The Arab world is now closing ranks and the world will see that they will no longer tolerate aggressive unjust behaviour

Their unification will send a sharp message to both the US and Israel

During this happy time of the New Year’s celebrations…

…may we extend our warmest congratulations on the marriage of Jenson Button to his lovely lady Jessica Michibata

This New Year will be an interesting turnabout for Jenson Button and his future will be controversial but extremely interesting

He will be able to pull off some amazing feats of driving and where further respect on a higher level will be given

This young man is not finished. He is just warming to the task in hand!
